time out

It's great to go out together on a date. But this time, since we've got Triz in tow all the time, we always go out by three. LoL. Well, we rarely could find time to leave Triz at home with either mine or Jon's family and we love it that way. When malling, it's Triz's favorite time so swithart love's the idea of following her daughter around. And this time? They're out there roaming while I am here at a netopia internet cafe at SM CDO doing "my" thing. Hehe.. I am all but complaints with our dial up at home. Whether we're staying at our residence with my laptop on the net or whether at their's with his or the household's computer on the net. The dial-up connection just won't let me open my sites and oh how I find it too sayang for my tasks expiring. Hehe... So now I am taking my time while writing this. It's wiser and more practical to go inside the internet cafe than waiting for forever to load my pages and yet in the end, I am just being told "error" or "the page cannot be displayed". Hah.

In Transpo Time

In matters of months (as I hope not years), I and swithart will have to move from central Illinois to somewhere south or west of the US. That is, when he gets to work at a university where we target ourselves going to. Ahhh... that would be a long and tough move, huh. But with the help of an Auto Transportation Worldwide, things will be possible as I didn't only plan to move our personal things but also the car that we are using. It would be less of an expense if we have to use our old but very reliable car, don't you think? hanging on...

I am back after a so long break! You see, in the past few weeks that swithart's been here, I've let myself disconnected from my blogs. We've got a lot of things going on, and I am hanging on as well. Hehe... Our time in Manila was great, as we're able to accomplish matters in there in just a couple of days. When we came back, we went ahead with our other tasks and appointments. This time, Triz's 2nd birthday is coming up and that's what makes me more occupied again. I've thought of doing a somewhat and somehow huge party at Jollibee as it's everybody's fave but swithart opposed to such decision and so I am weighing things over what to do here. I've got plenty of suggestions here anyway so this won't be a hard time in the end. We'll see.

hot!!!

... and humid! It sure is, here in Pinas! So what are the good activities here? Swimming, I've heard you! Nature tripping, joy riding, and fresh fruit juice and water from spring, to keep everyone hydrated. Yes, we've done them all, and I promise to do it even more in the remaining time that we will be here. Triz is all sweating here every single day. Her first word when she stepped foot Manila, "hot". And how many times does she takes a bath in a day? Four times. She changes clothes more than four times. We don't have an aircon here so the fan keeps on turning 24 hours. BUT... she has a glass of her fave orange juice all the time, and that would make her day! And mine, too.

It won't be long.
As it's going to be few more days till swithart gets here. By then, Triz won't be longing for dada every now and then as they're not gonna be separated from then on. There'll be no more expensive talks on the phone, no hassles of chatting on those untimely hours, no longings for more of these presences. Hehe. Now we just couldn't wait. While Triz is having her fever once again these times. Argh... so exhausting! And.. it just happens during the night! Very high temperature. The reason? She is teething- that simple. The good thing though is that she is very well and good during the day as it's only during late at night that she has that temperature. Hmm.... mommy-ness eh?

trip!
There is no first day of the week that we are just home. This week, I will be hand full from things that matter. Today will be the start of it. LoL. Later, we will be heading to Talakag to see our long-time-unseen niece and to visit old friends and neighborhood, as well as talk to people concerning one important matter. It will be a long day today but for sure, a fun one. And... seven more days till swithart will be here. Hmmm... I am excited. By then, I could have an exemplary helper with Triz. LoL. Yes, I do have my family here and Jon's but having swithart beside is different. So we all are in waiting.

Classy Mommy-hood

I never knew how tough and tiring and hassling motherhood is, until I became a mom myself. I admit I do have a lot of experiences when it comes to child-rearing as I have been an aunt for so many times to my nieces and nephews. But when it's your own child, it's really different. I am just so thankful and fortunate that my motherhood stage took place here in the US. Seriously. Because here, I am being given the chance to experience motherhood with style, with class, and with fashion. How so? With the use of Mutsy products. back and tired!!!

As I've expressed in my entry down below, Triz was sick. Last Tuesday, she was vomiting and in the afternoon, she seemed to be dehydrating and so without too much fuss, I brought her to the hospital. And then, she was admitted. Three days. Now I am back. Sure I missed my online life and career. I was inquiring about smart bro internet connection but it;s just not worth it for me to get one. And so, I was off from my blogging, instead, I became a full time mom and dad, considering that swithart isn't here with me. I am thankful that my family and Jon's are just here for support and assistance. They truly have helped me in so many ways.

It has been many many times that we have gone to the beach ever since we got here. The first time we did, it was Triz's first time as well! At first, she was kind of hesitant to go to the sea but when I held her up, she was loving it! I am sure she was amazed by such vast body of water, and even wondered why salty. LoL. I couldn't really tell what she's thinking but all I've perceived is that she was marveling on such huge horizon and was enjoying her stay in the water. Not to mention how much fun she had with her cousins.

sick. again!

Triz is sick once again! Arrggghhhh! Her temperature last night {well, it was around 2:30 am} went to the top. She was too hot. And was shivering. And vomiting! Imagine that. I hate it when such time happens. But what can I do? Well, I am to blame though, because I left her at my in-law's house yesterday, and food was the problem. For five hours I wasn't with her (for the first time), and oh yes, you must have known how desperate my darling Triz in looking for me. I thought MIL could comfort her as she's been claiming she could. I thought people out there could console her as they've been telling people they could. But heck, it's still me who know best for my child. AND... never again will I leave Triz to anyone for that long. Not unless it's at my own family. Haha.. I love my own, can you tell?

Vacation vacation!!!

Summertime! For most people, especially students, summertime is vacation time! For me and swithart, summertime is one of the most beautiful time to travel, especially now that we have Triz around. And often, in our vacation plans, the thought of going to Oregon is one thing that is longed for. Seeing the beauty of Oregon in pictures and hearing stories and experiences of how lovely it is to spend some time in the said state is worth listening. Would you believe it, the National Statistics Office and the Department of Foreign Affairs are two of the government offices here in Philippines that serves hundreds of clients/costumers everyday. Men, that's a bunch! Would should I say, bunches? Indeed! That if you go to their office at 11 or even 10 in the morning, people are already flooding and you will be given a number, a priority number that's already in a hundred or more, and yet, the fellas that are being served are still in the tens. So again, a morning appointment will be done in the afternoon and you will be all sacrifices in the waiting time. Ahhh... if you're a Filipino like me, you know what I am talking about! I just thought of this because later on, we will be heading to both offices. And so.... that will happen to us, too!

Beach Dancing

Have you been to one?
Ahhh... yesterday was so much fun! We celebrated the Mother's Day event at the beach with my whole family, and we invited close friends and church friends, too as we had a huge party in there in celebration of the blessing of the cab that Yaya has for the family. And so our  day was spent at the beach from 10am to 5pm! Yes, that long and we surely had so much fun. Not only with the chitchats that we all had, the foods, the boat riding and island hopping, the laughters, the photo taking, etc.etc., there was an interesting summer fest at the very beach where we went and their activity? Tadda!!!!!





Such a very beautiful event at the beach. This is actually a month-long activity sponsored by the government of Misamis, Oriental and last Sunday was the second performance of the contestants. They're just one of the 14 groups who have performed in the two Sundays that have passed and I could say they all did great. Now, have you been to a beach dancing?

Football Pick

Whoever said that sports run among men's blood only is definitely untrue. When you go watch a sporting event in any field or atrium or gymnasium or coliseum, you will not only see men but women as well. I know a lot of females too who are that sports fanatic. ...to be well-rested

With how tired I was, well practically, we all were, with our activity yesterday at the beach, we all were exhausted. And given the long day that we have today that doesn't have any agenda and that, with the nationwide strike that the country is having, I am inclined to just stay home and get rest with so much time sleeping. Ahhh who doesn't love getting rest and sleeping? I've had some puto cheese and putomaya for breakfast with a glass of hot milo, while Triz has some pansit that Mama made so early today. Now we are packed and ready to talk and play. Later today, we will go ahead sleep for as long as we want to.I've got laundries to wash which I've separated from the rest of the household here, especially from Yaya as I've been ashamed of her for so long because of always including my and Triz's dirty clothes in her laundry. That can wait. For now, I'll go ahead read some Monday news first.

All About Reality

The real thing is, I missed watching my fave Reality Shows! Being here for more than a month, I missed it even more being watched with swithart! Hehe.. But I just found out the e-version of Reality TV, which I found to be so cool! Reality Bug is what I am talking about. 600 whaaaat???

Okay, so I haven't opened my Lycos Mail for more than a month now. And when I logged in at this very moment, I will be abnormal if I won't get surprised for being met by 658 mails in my inbox! Whew!!!! That's not a small thing, is it? And what more, 987 bulk! Haha. Now who are these people still trying to reach me even if they didn't hear from me? They never did actually. Not a single mail have I sent for a reply to all those senders out there. Remember, that's just in one of my Lycos Mail account, and I've got three!!! Oh baby, baby!!! Now I've got so much to delete and again, filter my receiving format. I'll see if it'll work. Someone has suggested a way on how to get rid of them, and after deleting these nonsense, totally nonsense mails later, I will try to do what a friend has suggested. Hmmm.... lemme go ahead and start my long task for today! Heck, I hated the fact that curiosity hit me moments ago which led me to logging in to my mail accounts. LoL.
